This tour is based on rates in effect November 2014 and is subject to change in the event of significant currency fluctuations and/or airline tax/fuel surcharge increases. This tour is priced on a minimum of 25 paying participants.
Activity Level:
The activity level on this tour is moderate. Participants should be in good health and able to walk at a moderate pace, without assistance, for a couple of miles at a time on uneven terrain. Certain sites require climbing multiple flights of stairs that may not have handrails.
Included in Price:
Flights from New York (JFK) including all taxes and fuel surcharges at time of booking; shared double room in first class/superior tourist hotels and standard inside cabin on cruise; daily meals as indicated in itinerary; transportation and entrance fees to sights, museums, and activities on land portion, as listed in itinerary; and gratuities.
Not Included in Price:
Single room supplement: $750; potential increases in the airline tax/fuel surcharge covered in the price of the tour; optional tour activities as listed in itinerary, including cruise excursions; additions/changes to standard program; individual transfers; cruise cabin upgrades; travel insurance; coffee and drinks; excess baggage.
Reservation and Deposit:
A non refundable deposit of $450 per person is required at the time of reservation. The balance is due no later than May 17, 2015. For reservations received after this date, payment must also include a $100 late booking fee per person in addition to any subsequent increases in the price of airfare after May 17.
Transfers:
Group transport between airport and hotel is included. Those who request changes from standard program and who do not arrive with the group are responsible for their own transfers.
Luggage:
Limit of one suitcase and one carry on per person; porterage is for one suitcase only. Carry-on luggage is the responsibility of passengers.
Flight Times:
Flight times are subject to change without advance notice. In this event, Footstep Ministries reserves the right to shorten or lengthen the itinerary accordingly. If changes necessitate extra overnights, you will be charged $150 per night per person, single rooms $200 per person.
Cancellation Fees:
Footstep Ministries must receive all cancellation and refund requests in writing. All cancellations are subject to an administration fee of $450 per person if received on or before May 17, 2015; 25% of tour price if received between May 17 and August 3, 2015; 75% of tour price if received between August 4 and September 6, 2015; and 100% of tour price on or after September 7, 2015. No-shows or cancellations after date of departure receive no refund whatsoever. All cancellation fees are based on the total tour price including all additions and airline deviations.
Insurance:
Tour participants are highly recommended to purchase insurance for trip cancellation, trip interruption, accident, sickness and/or loss of baggage and personal effects. Insurance can be quoted and purchased here.
Documentation:
U.S. citizens require a valid passport. The traveler assumes complete and full responsibility for, and hereby releases FM from, any duty of checking and verifying any and all passports, visa, vaccination or other entry requirements for each destination, and all safety and security conditions during the proposed travel.
Statement of Responsibility:
Footstep Ministries (FM) shall not be held responsible for any wrongful or negligent acts or omissions by any supplier or other party not directly owned or controlled by FM or by the failure of any equipment operated by any such supplier or other party. FM shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage to person, property or otherwise, in connection with any accommodations, transportation, or other services, resulting directly or indirectly from any acts of God, dangers incident to the sea, fire, breakdown of machinery or equipment, acts of government of other authorities, wars whether or not declared, hostilities, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferages, epidemics, quarantines, medical or customs regulations, defaults, delays or cancellations of or changes to itineraries or schedules. Neither FM nor any of its affiliates or subsidiaries shall be or become liable or responsible for any additional expenses of liability sustained or incurred by the tour member as a result of any of the aforementioned causes. FM does not have special knowledge regarding the hazards of medical procedures in any location, suitability of medical travel for any person, financial condition of any supplier, unsafe conditions, health hazards, weather hazards, political conditions, or climate extremes at locations to which you may travel. FM responsibility to passengers carried in vehicles and aircraft for transfer and excursions and tours is governed by the laws of the respective countries in which the tours take place and no other country. All claims against FM must be made within 30 days of travel and are subject only to the jurisdiction of the courts of the country in which the cause of action arises. The right is reserved to substitute hotels and cruise ships and to alter itineraries. The right is also reserved to cancel the tour prior to departure. If any tour is cancelled prior to the passengers joining the tour, FM is liable for a refund of monies received. FM is not responsible or liable for defaults of those not directly under the control of FM. All tickets and vouchers issued for transportation and services are subject to the terms and conditions under which such transportation and services are provided to the participant by the owners or contractors.
