Included in Price:
Flights from Chicago ORD; shared double room in quality student hotels (with optional hotel upgrade in Athens; +$150 for 12 day itinerary, +$260 for 20 day itinerary); daily meals as indicated in itinerary; transportation and entrance fees to sights, museums, and activities listed in itinerary; and land portion gratuities. This tour is based on rates in effect March, 2013 and is subject to change in the event of significant currency fluctuations and/or significant airline tax/fuel surcharge increases. This tour is priced on a minimum group size of 32 paying participants.
Not Included in Price:
Single room supplement for 12 day itinerary: $550 ($750 with hotel upgrade in Athens); Single room supplement for 20 day itinerary: $1000 ($1350 with hotel upgrade in Athens); One day Greek island cruise; Increases in the airline tax/fuel surcharge; Additions/changes to standard program; Individual transfers; Travel insurance; Coffee and drinks; Excess baggage.
Reservation and Deposit:
A deposit of $750 per person is required at the time of reservation. The balance is due no later than January 2, 2014. For reservations received after this date, payment must also include a $100 late booking fee per person plus any applicable airfare price increases.
Transfers:
Group transport between airport and hotel is included. Those who request changes from standard program and who do not arrive with the group are responsible for their own transfers.
Luggage:
Limit of one suitcase and one carry on per person; porterage is for one suitcase only. Carry-on luggage is the responsibility of passengers.
Flight Times:
Subject to change by airlines without advance notice. In this event, FM of Carrollton, TX reserves the right to shorten or lengthen the itinerary accordingly and, whenever possible, you will be notified in writing. If changes necessitate extra overnights, you will be charged $150 per night per person, single rooms $200 per person.
Cancellation Fees:
Footstep Ministries must receive all cancellation and refund requests in writing. All cancellations are subject to an administration fee of $400 per person if received on or before December 20, 2013. Cancellation requests received between December 21, 2013 and March 21, 2014 will incur a total penalty of 50% of the tour price. Cancellation requests received between March 22, 2014 and April 20, 2014 will incur a total penalty of 75% of the tour price. Cancellation requests received on or after April 21, 2014 will receive no refund whatsoever.
Insurance:
Tour participants are highly recommended to purchase insurance for trip cancellation, trip interruption, accident, sickness and/or loss of baggage and personal effects. Insurance can be quoted and purchased here.
Documentation:
U.S. citizens require a valid passport. The traveler assumes complete and full responsibility for, and hereby releases FM, Inc. from any duty of checking and verifying any and all passports, visa, vaccination or other entry requirements for each destination, and all safety and security conditions during the proposed travel.
Statement of Responsibility:
Footstep Ministries (FM) shall not be held responsible for any wrongful or negligent acts or omissions by any supplier or other party not directly owned or controlled by Footstep Ministries, Inc., or by the failure of any equipment operated by any such supplier or other party. FM shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage to person, property or otherwise, in connection with any accommodations, transportation, or other services, resulting directly or indirectly from any acts of God, dangers incident to the sea, fire, breakdown of machinery or equipment, acts of government of other authorities, wars whether or not declared, hostilities, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferages, epidemics, quarantines, medical or customs regulations, defaults, delays or cancellations of or changes to itineraries or schedules. FM has no special knowledge regarding the hazards of medical procedures in any location, suitability of medical travel for any person, financial condition of any supplier, unsafe conditions, health hazards, weather hazards, political conditions, or climate extremes at locations to which you may travel. Neither FM nor any of its affiliates or subsidiaries shall be or become liable or responsible for any additional expenses of liability sustained or incurred by the tour member as a result of any of the aforementioned causes. FM responsibility to passengers carried in vehicles and aircraft for transfer and excursions and tours is governed by the laws of the respective countries in which the tours take place and no other country. All claims against FM must be made within 30 days of travel and are subject only to the jurisdiction of the courts of the country in which the cause of action arises. The right is reserved to substitute hotels and cruise ships and to alter itineraries. The right is also reserved to cancel the tour prior to departure. If any tour is cancelled prior to the passengers joining the tour, FM is liable for a refund of monies received. FM is not responsible or liable for defaults of those not directly under the control of FM. All tickets and vouchers issued for transportation and services are subject to the terms and conditions under which such transportation and services are provided to the participant by the owners or contractors.
The receipt of your deposit and/or final payment will indicate that you have read these Terms and Conditions and that you have agreed to them. Prices are subject to change due to significant currency fluctuations and/or significant airline tax/ fuel surcharge increases. All program participants must be in good health and fully able to participate in all tour activities. Venue for any disputes is Dallas County, TX. This contract shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
